The NBA trade deadline is always a frenzy and it's hard to keep of all of the notifications, reports, and deals that go down on the day.

The Cleveland Cavaliers opted to sit out the festivities this year. They didn't make a single trade leading up to the deadline which may have upset some fans hoping the team would make some sort of aggressive move.

The man who's responsible for figuring out all of these pieces fit together is satisfied with Cleveland's (lack of) deadline moves. In fact, J.B. Bickerstaff is just glad it's all behind them.

"I was glad it was over with," said Bickerstaff a few hours after the 3:00 pm deadline. "No matter how we try to talk to our guys about nothing happening and keeping this group together, there’s always a little bit of angst. There are so many rumors, so many outlets, so many different people talking and claiming to be sources. That can make guys be a little uneasy. So we were happy that it got past us."

The Cavaliers have a there site set on a deep playoff run this spring. That's always been their main goal. They have shown over the last few months that they have the talent needed to do that.

Bickerstaff is enthusiastic about this group and what their ceiling can be.

"I think our guys are comfortable, they want to be here. We’re excited to have a group of guys that do want to be here. Wanna play together, believe they can accomplish something special, and we’re looking forward to the rest of the year."
