Mountain High just announced that they are extending daily operations through April 21st, a week longer than previously planned.

Recent snowstorms, like the one that dumped over a foot on the resort on March 30th, have deepened the snowpack, allowing Mtn High to keep the lifts spinning a little longer for the 2023-24 winter.

That means more parklaps. See the work of Mamba and Levi Kaseroff, below, for inspiration.

Mtn High made the announcement on their Instagram, saying:

"The past week delivered us some incredible April conditions and we're thrilled to announced we've EXTENDED THE SEASON! We will be open daily until at least April 21st so come on up and enjoy the snow for another 2 weeks."

While the closing day push is exciting enough, the real phrase to pay attention to here is "open daily until at least April 21st". If wintery conditions continue in the San Gabriels, the mountain could stay open even longer.

Mtn High is part of the Cali Pass, which if you purchase before the end of April, is $649 for an adult ($599 if renewing). The pass gives you access to Mountain High, Bear Valley, China Peak, Dodge River, and the Powder Alliance (3 days of lift tickets at 23 independent resorts around the world).
